“Someone who has had a big impact on me is my grandmother,” junior Brendon Eminger said. “She’s gone through a lot. She lived in the rough part of Roswell, and both her and my grandfather had cancer and fought through it. At the same time, she lost her mom and got in a car wreck, nearly lost her life in that too. It was crazy. They were expecting to live there for the rest of their lives, and out of nowhere, doors opened and they came to Canyon.”
