Sarah Trammell

“I am doing a VASE project,” sophomore Sarah Trammell said. “It’s due February 23, so I’ve been coming in activity period for weeks just to get it done. I took a picture of myself and I drew it on a piece of paper with a grid on it. After I did that, I went to the light table and put that picture on cardboard. I just drew a dress, painted it, and I decided I wanted to it kind of like a mosaic. We went and bought a bunch of beads and put them on. I’ve always drawn, but more lately I’ve been painting, because my mom is a real big artsy person, so her and my grandma on my dad’s side is how I got into art. My favorite part is after I finish a piece and actually like it, and I feel super satisfied.”
