“I want to go to The Art Institute of Dallas and get my degree in fashion,” junior Cheyenne Lynch said. “Afterwards, I would like to work in the fashion industry. I would prefer to work for Ralph Lauren or Kate Spade designing clothes, working with big name designers. It’s going to take a lot of hard work. I have been sewing my whole life, that’s kind of the back part of it. Then college, doing well in school and creating a good portfolio will get me an internship at a company–from there, working my way up. I like how you can put different materials and different textures and different colors together and make a masterpiece of it. It’s not just about clothing; it’s about art.”
