Students will be out of school Monday, Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day while teachers will have a staff development day. School will resume Tuesday, Jan. 21 on collaboration bell schedule.
President Ronald Reagan signed a bill Nov. 2, 1983 to establish a national holiday commemorating King’s birthday each year on the third Monday of January.
