Lady Eagles swept by Randall in district rivalry

Coming from a straight set domination of the Palo Duro Dons Saturday, the Lady Eagles traveled Tuesday to Randall to face off the Lady Raiders for a second time. Randall took advantage of the home-court advantage and swept Canyon, 18-25, 16-25 and 10-25.

During the second game, senior Callie Ray suffered an elbow injury and did not play the rest of the game.

Canyon will play Dumas at the CHS gym tomorrow. Freshmen begin 5 p.m., JV at 6 p.m., and varsity at 7 p.m.
