Clark started writing poetry at the start of the Pandemic in April of 2020. She usually writes freeverse, and enjoys using little to no ryme scemes in her work.
Our hallowed halls
Smokey stalls
White plaster walls
Curtain calls
and deflated basketballs
I recall
The audacity of some of y’all
The tall,
The small.
we crawl
we fall
Where does it get us all?
