After graduating from Angelo State University with his Masters of Business Administration, the Learning Commons staff presented paraprofessional Rollins Mayfield with a graduation surprise Friday, Dec. 4. The display included a banner reading “Congratulations, Mr. Mayfield” above the circulation desk complete with a gift basket containing popcorn from the Canyon Popcorn Company and a $50 Amazon gift card. “I’m looking forward to being on the business side of the medical field, and graduating will enhance my future profession,” Mayfield said. “I feel honored that I’m a part of the Learning Commons crew, and I feel so welcome. Even though I am graduated and might further my education, I may want to stay and be a part of the Learning Commons and Canyon High.”
