Safety Day drills Friday, Aug. 23
A lockdown drill in second period will begin safety day.
Students will participate in safety drills Friday, Aug. 23. Drills will start during second period with a lockout, followed by a lockdown in third period, and end with a fire drill in seventh period. Principal Jennifer Boren said being safe at school is a high priority.
“We want to practice for all the possible situations that could happen,” Boren said. “My goal is for students and faculty alike to treat the day very seriously and give their very best effort so that we are practicing as if it’s real.”
