Ryanne Higgins

“I like New Year’s,” freshman Ryanne Higgins said. “I like celebrating we made it through another year. We’ll go to my Nana’s house, and she has a theater in her basement. We have sparkling apple cider and a ton of snacks, and we sit down there and watch the ball drop. If we’re not with one of our family members, we’ll FaceTime them. At the last second of the current year, we’ll jump into 20-whatever together. It’s enjoyable to spend time with all of my family. With time and getting older, I’ve appreciated it more. As you get older, you understand they’re not always going to be there. Whatever time I can get with my family, I want to have.”
