Students to display products at iCreate Saturday
To showcase the talents and interests of students to community members, Canyon ISD will host iCreate Saturday 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Canyon High School. The event is free to the public.
Students will display technology, art, music, theater, cooking, creative projects and activities in school. Several sponsors including Google and Dell will have presentations at the event showcasing virtual and augmented reality, raffles and 300 Google Cardboards to distribute. Sophomore Isaac Kendrick will participate in the event as part of STEM Club.
“The community can learn about many different things,” Kendrick said. “We’re going to be presenting the stuff we have got over the couple years we’ve been a club, so we’ll have our Lego robotics as our major part.”
The events includes students from all of Canyon ISD. The Twitter hashtag, #iCreateCISD can be used to share the experience.
