PTSA to present human trafficking prevention program
Traffick911 and Department of Homeland Security will present the prevention program.
The Parent Teacher Student Association will present a domestic human trafficking prevention program to the community in the CHS auditorium at 7 p.m. Jan. 23.
The organizations leading the program, Traffick911 and Department of Homeland Security, will provide the information and updates on the identification of a trafficked victim, internet safety for parents and youth, legislative advocacy and the red flags of sexual abuse. The program will have mature content concerning the dangers of human trafficking and is designed to inform teens and parents.
One Amarillo, Family Support Services, No Boundaries, Christian Relief Fund (CRF), Mercy Project, Eternal Threads, Women At Risk (W.A.R.) and Traffick911 will set up booths in the CHS commons before the program. The booths will be available until 8:30 p.m.
