Eagle’s Tale editor-in-chief Tasha Brown and associate editor Allison Koontz brave the snowy weather resulting from a complete disregard of a proper observance of Hoodie Hoo Day last Friday.

Once again, we have failed at preventing winter’s wrath. Hoodie Hoo Day passed unnoticed yet again on a beautiful 70-degree day filled with Chacos and short sleeves. But now, a few inches of snow blanket the ground, snow which keeps falling with no sign of stopping.

We apologize for disregarding this little known, but official, holiday which require participants to yell “Hoodie Hoo” outdoors at noon on Feb. 20 to ward off future cold weather.

The Eagle’s Tale staff takes personal responsibility for the icy roads and cold toes. We regret our error and will strive to observe Hoodie Hoo day in 2016.
