Victory church expects 4,000 people to walk in their doors over one weekend, but not for the typical experience.

Senior Dustin Pierce will participate in his third GLO presentation, a rock opera Christmas presentation featuring two keyboards, an organ, five guitars, drums, and plenty of singers.  There are four performances on the one weekend, December 18, 19 and 20 at 7 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 11 a.m.  GLO is in its third year and anticipates a record-breaking attendance after printing over 20,000 flyers, posting five billboards and airing commercials to advertise.

“People can expect an amazing experience with music, lights and video,” Pierce said.  “It’s a huge presentation.”

The concert is free and features 80 minutes of several genres.  Featured songs that people will recognize are “Carol of the Bells,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Wizards of Winter.”

“It ranges from acoustic to all out wailing guitars,” Pierce said.  “We’ve practiced heavily since September.”

Victory church is located at 6300 Arden Road in Amarillo.
